I admit I have been wanting wings from a restaurant here (Wing N' It) and I love poutine from New York Fries. I haven't had either in months. We did go on vacation and eat foods that were not healthy choices and then when we got home we pretty much went back on the challenge, to an extent; but I have still been craving these specific foods, especially the wings. I caved today and had wings but I need to remember that the fact I ate wings does not mean I should go nuts and eat a whole bunch of other unhealthy things. I am struggling a little but trying.
Myself and Hubby have finished our 100 day real food challenge and we decided to try a modified version: follow the same challenge rules most of the time but allow a few variations when we want to eat out or have an occasional treat. I tend not to do as well with this, I tend to be an all or nothing kind of girl :) I admit I have been wanting wings from a restaurant here (Wing N' It) and I love poutine from New York Fries. I caved today and had wings but I need to remember that the fact I ate wings does not mean I should go nuts and eat a whole bunch of other unhealthy things. I am struggling a little but trying. Breakfast this morning was fine. I had my "egg in a hole"; fried egg in bread, along with my morning coffee. Lunch was "Double Ugly" wings from Wing N' It. They are honey garlic, dill and ranch, and they were excellent. I shared this basket with another, so I didn't eat them all. They did taste great but I didn't feel so great shortly after eating them, not too bad, just off. Since I had wings as a late lunch I am not overly hungry for dinner. I just a chocolate muffin with jam, chocolate, coconut and cream. I may get some popcorn later if I do get a little hungry.
