Today was errands day, a lot of running around. I think that may be one of the worst things about eating healthier and trying to eliminate processed foods...you rarely get everything you need at the one store. We often go to two grocery stores and sometimes other specialty stores depending on what we are cooking that week.
Today's breakfast was a slice of whole wheat toast with butter and homemade strawberry jam, a couple of fried eggs, and my morning coffee.
Snack was a Larabar, as usual when we are out and about. For those not familiar with Larabars, they are made mostly from dates and than a couple of other ingredients depending on the flavour choices. You can find them at Dominion in C.B.S. and most grocery stores in town, they are usually in the organic or whole foods section. I mentioned them in an earlier post: Day 5.
Lunch was leftover dinner from last night: coconut chicken satay, coconut rice, and parmesan zucchini bites.
