Breakfast this morning was a slice of whole grain toast with almond butter. Also had a Christmas Chai tea with maple syrup and milk :)
I was out running errands today and had to decide what to get for lunch. I had no leftovers and nothing that was easy to pack up and take for lunch. I decided to go to Eat Clean; it's one of the few places that have food options that fall into my real food rules. I tried the chili with whole wheat bread. If you are looking for a very hearty and chunky chili than this is the chili for you. I had it with beef and it was delicious. Not overly spicy and very thick and chunky; you can easily see the veggies. (If I hadn't planned to blog today I would easily have had a not so healthy lunch, therefore keeping me accountable)
Dinner tonight was a simple meal. I made whole wheat pasta with marinara sauce and some sausage. It was excellent and easy. I use the free from sausage from Dominion; they do have added sugar but it's not enough to register on the package per serving. I also only used 2 sausages and I made 5 servings, so not too bad overall.
