Breakfast this morning was the Whole Food Protein Shake again which is pretty good. I didn't have my breakfast first thing this morning. Instead I ran errands first then came home and had it a couple of hours later. Big mistake. By the time I got home I was starving and after drinking my shake I was still hungry. I have found that I am pretty hungry all day today, but this has been the only day I've hungry following this plan so far.
First snack today was some almonds.
Lunch today was supposed to be a recipe for Cod Cakes and Salad but again I got caught up with things and ended up eating late and letting myself get too hungry again. So I pan-fried the cod in avocado oil with salt, pepper and chili powder and had it with a salad. Not too far off I think.
Dinner tonight was Stir-Fry Vegetables with Almonds. This was pretty good for a grain-free vegan dish. I had a large plate because I thought it wouldn't be very filling and I was pretty hungry; but I couldn't eat it all. Next time I make this I will leave out the ginger as I am not a big fan of it and found it a little too much in this dish. I think this would also be very good with extra protein (besides the almonds), maybe shrimp or chicken.
