Started up dinner club again :) Our friends Shauna & Noel started us off for the month of Sept. When we arrived there was bread with olive oil and balsamic for dipping along with a meat, cheese and tomato tray. The app was green peas with blue cheese; a dish Noel had tried and really liked when visiting Europe. I'm not a fan of blue cheese so pushed mine to the side instead of mixing it in as recommended. The main was salmon (smoked over wood chips on the grill), local carrot, and quinoa salad. Dessert was made by Shauna; a Baileys and cream and Oreo layered yummy dessert :) Of course there was lots of wine, beer, and drinks :) For those following along with me, this was my day off from the Day Off Diet :) I planned it specifically for dinner club this week. I will blog soon regarding my results and thoughts of my first week on DOD.
