In January we (myself and hubby) will be following the rules set out in this site. I already see there will be some difficulties here but I hope we can push through them. My hubby drinks a lot of tea with refined white sugar in it, now he will be switching to less refined natural sweeteners such as honey. In addition he drinks a lot of skim milk (I am not a big milk drinker lately due to lactose issues), but we will be switching to whole dairy products. Yup, you read that right. Whole milk and cheeses. Any questions about why this switch in dairy can be read about again on the Leake's site. It does say they drink 2% but this was in the beginning and according to the comments they quickly switched to whole.
Looking forward to getting started but am also a little wary. Thank goodness beer and wine are included in the beverage list for allowable foods :) Of course everything in moderation.
