We arrived really early, a little after 4, hoping it would help with parking near the restaurant. It did; we parked right in front. Unfortunately the restaurant doesn't start supper service until 5. Not a big problem though, as the owner said we were welcome to sit outside and served us drinks while we waited :) It was a lovely evening to sit, people watch, enjoy the weather, and chat.
The dinner menu is small but everything sounds amazing and they have specials :) Yay! Tonight there were 4 additions. Myself and Hubby went with specials for our mains tonight.
We started with the Bruschetta for our appetizer. You have the option to add fresh Parmesan and/or spicy oil to it (the oil has olives as well). Hubby had the spicy oil, I tried it as is. It was delicious. Everything was fresh and homemade tasting. My main was a Baked Chicken Scaloppine in a rose sauce with pasta. I added Parmesan to the pasta. This was an excellent dish. The chicken was moist and tasty and the pasta was cooked perfectly with just enough sauce. Hubby tried the Rigatoni with Veal and Tomato Sauce. He added the spicy oil again and he loved his meal. For dessert I had to try their Tiramisu, even though I was pretty full :) It was excellent! One of the best in the city! Very tasty and creamy and the ladyfingers are not mushy. A have to try dessert :)
