Finally, it's day 10 of the 10 day diet from Beyond Calories. So glad to be done and will weigh tomorrow morning to see the results. They will not be as good as what some people boast after doing this plan but they should be decent. Don't think I will be going back on this diet as is, perhaps with some changes; and that may be why my results are not as good as well. I think for me though I will stick to real food and maybe less carbs.
Meal 1 (2 protein) was eggs and bacon. This seems to be one of a few breakfast options if you are looking to eat breakfast type foods, therefore I have eaten it a lot, especially eggs. I have had eggs every day for 10 days.
I will admit I had a slip today. It was preschool graduation and a parent bought a graduation cake. While I was cutting pieces for the kids I gave in and ate a piece as well and it was tasty.
Meal 3 (2 protein) was chicken and pecans. I have never eaten so much chicken before either :(
Meal 4 was 2 foods from any group so I had mahi mahi and salad. I will admit I am not a big fish eater and really found myself not looking forward to this meal tonight. I ate maybe half the piece of fish. Just so much seafood the last 10 days.
If you are a big meat eater than this diet may be great for you. I also found the protein options way to limited. There was no red meat at all, no pork or duck either. I found myself eating the same few items over and over; mainly chicken, seafood, and eggs. The lack of all grains was hard as well. I would love to have some rice or pasta or a slice of toast even. Also no sugar or sweets of any kind was very difficult. Although as you read today I did eat cake :( Look forward to the results tomorrow though :)
