Breakfast today was a couple of cups of tea with maple syrup and cream (finally found good coffee cream at the grocery store this week).
Lunch was a late cooked breakfast. Hubby made hash-brown potatoes with peppers and onions, fried eggs, and homemade bacon. For the bacon we buy sliced pork belly and marinate it overnight in water, salt and maple syrup. Fry it up. It's delicious.
Snack today was an apple with almond butter, a handful of almonds and a couple of dried figs.
Dinner tonight was Roasted Chicken )store-bought) and a Caesar Salad. The salad is from the 100 Days Cookbook. It's great and pretty simple. We added some of the homemade bacon from this morning to it as well; yummy :)
