Breakfast this morning was exactly the same as yesterday morning: granola, banana, milk, and decaf coffee with milk.
Snack today was a Coconut Banana Chocolate Chip Muffin (made yesterday) along with some pistachios. As I stated yesterday I made a mistake with these muffins by using 100% dark chocolate instead of dark chocolate chips; the chocolate is bitter but the muffins are ok.
Lunch was a piece of leftover Lasagna from the freezer. I realized yesterday that there would be no leftovers for today's lunch since we had eaten out last night; therefore I took Lasagna out of the freezer. Always need to be prepared :)
Second snack was some homemade chocolate. I had one of my nephews up for a visit and we decided to make chocolate. I have a batch or regular and a batch of coconut :)
Dinner tonight changed a little. Due to the beautiful weather and it being a holiday we decided to grill instead. We had planned to make a beef and broccoli recipe which I will now cook for tomorrow's nights dinner instead. Tonight we had family in for dinner and had grilled tenderloin steak, baked potatoes with butter, and grilled veggies with olive oil. The tenderloin steaks were bought at the Real Food Market yesterday and was some of the best beef we have had outside of a restaurant. They sell lost of organic items but they often carry local, grass-fed beef. I will not be going back to grocery store for beef anymore.
