Breakfast was a very small bowl of granola with milk and my decaf coffee. I had a smaller breakfast because I knew I would be eating lunch early due to an appointment and errands. I did not want to end up out-and-about, starving, with no lunch. It's all about planning :)
Lunch was leftover Beef & Broccoli Stir-Fry from last night's dinner.
First snack today was a Larabar while out running errands.
Second snack today was organic strawberries from The Real Food Market in St. John's. I have realized that the strawberries I have been buying for the last several years from the grocery store do not have much of a strawberry taste. They are rather bland. The strawberries today were sweet and juicy like I remember them when I was a kid. Sorry, no picture, I ate them too fast :)
Dinner tonight was a new recipe: Spicy Fish Taco Bowls. They were really good. I didn't mix everything together but I may next time. I layered the rice, veggie mixture and then the whole fish fillets on top. I topped mine with salsa and avocado. Very nice meal and pretty large portions.
Note regarding the jam above: I made this the other day but added a tbsp of chia seeds at the end and it thickened very nicely.
