Breakfast today was a change from the routine of the week. I made a bowl of oatmeal and added pineapple (with some juice for sweetness), raisins, pecans, and coconut. It was pretty good. I usually add maple syrup to my oatmeal so it wasn't as sweet as I like but it was still good.
Supper tonight was Indian Food :) I made a Chickpea Madras using a jarred sauce (the ingredient list worked for me). I added carrot, onion, green peas, tomatoes, and chickpeas. I served it all over jasmine rice. It was pretty good but way too hot for me. I couldn't eat it all. Hubby loves spicy and he even said it was hot, he was surprised I ate any at all.
I have my meal plan and grocery list all ready for the next 6 days and I am looking forward to the meals; some new recipes too :) That's the most important thing; food I am looking forward to making and eating.
