Breakfast was an excellent cooked breakfast (cooked by Hubby so even better). We had natural sausage, fried eggs and hash-browns. It was really yummy. Lunch was small; some pan-fried fresh trout my Dad caught the day before. Can't get much fresher than that :) Fried it up in butter after dusting it with whole wheat flour, salt & pepper. Mmmmmmm.
Dinner tonight was out for our second dinner club. We went to a friend's and had a great meal; they even went out of their way to make it more real food friendly for us :) So thoughtful. We had flat breads with veggies and goat cheese; very yummy. The main was a maple mustard salmon which was pretty good even though salmon is not a favorite of mine. The sides were roasted potatoes, broccoli and a quinoa salad. The dessert was homemade apple crumble with cream and also homemade pineapple squares. Sorry no dessert pics. I ate it before realizing I didn't take the picture; oops. The desserts were made with white flour and sugar but I still had a taste :) Again, need to be better with moderation :) Occasional treats are ok.
