My breakfasts will be pretty much the same each day as I don't mind eating the same things as long as I like them. Started with hot lemon water, then Greek yogurt, banana, and a boiled egg. Lunch was leftover roasted chicken and veggies from last nights dinner. My snack today was a boiled egg instead of nuts because I knew I had less protein with lunch today and had extra to spare :) and a banana :( see below.
Dinner tonight was homemade Chicken & Rice Soup. So simple but so yummy. I added more veggies than I normally do tonight and it was really good. This soup is made with homemade chicken broth (I make big batches and freeze it), chicken breast, turnip, onion, a little carrot, brown rice (only 2 servings but soup made 5 servings), zucchini, and salt, pepper and savory.
The other not so good thing is I did go off plan a little today. I ate a banana as I was a little hungry and suffering a headache. I took pain-killers. I am like a child with pills, or a dog, I need to take them with food. I know the extra fruit is not on the plan but I feel like it was a minor slip and now I am trying to not let it get me down. Yes, I am that weird. If I slip I usually use that as an excuse to go nuts since in my head the day has already been ruined. Yes, I'm a special type of nuts, but I haven't slipped on anything else today :) So very happy about that :)
