So, I followed the DOD meal plan for a week and no real results to speak of; very frustrating. Really thought I would see something after eating badly for awhile and then eating so well for a week. I don't mean I expected a huge weight loss or miracles in one short week but I expected something. I really think my inflammation is greatly affecting my ability to lose weight. Maybe some of the foods I am eating are not the best options for me. I question the yogurt (dairy) each morning, the inclusion of nightshade vegetables, and not sure if I agree with no pork or beef, if they are good quality that is. I plan to look into it a bit more and see which foods I need to eat more of and which to avoid for inflammation issues and start following that for awhile. Will still continue with DOD for most of this week as I already have my meal plan done and groceries bought.
