First I made falafel; first time ever. The falafel were pretty good (Hubby really enjoyed them) but the dressing was pretty bad. I couldn't actually eat it. Not sure what happened but I think the lime juice and the tahini just didn't mix well. The dressing had an odd, sour, overall unpleasant taste; even though all the individual ingredients seemed fine.
Second, I made an Israeli Couscous recipe. First time ever cooking with this type of couscous and maybe it takes some practice. I cooked longer than the recipe suggested but the couscous was still under-cooked. It also seemed to have a lot less veggies and way too much couscous in comparison when I look at the pic provided in the recipe link and what I made. This was ok, likely better with properly cooked couscous but still not a great recipe for me.
