I chose this type of eating plan because I suffer from high inflammation (according to blood work) and have for several years now. I also know that what I eat greatly affects how I feel. Finally, I know that simply trying to eat more anti-inflammatory foods doesn't seem to be enough for me. This plan allows me to cut out foods that tend to be problematic overall and then introduce them back in to see which ones are problematic for me.
Starting tomorrow I will post everything that I eat and how I'm feeling overall. No worries, I won't get into the nitty gritty (well I don't plan to but I won't make any promises).
The main health concerns that I am trying to address with this plan are:
1. Enlarged thyroid (this happens to me on occasion and I can actually feel it in my throat. It is very uncomfortable and can be a little scary).
2. Fatigue.
3. IBS-D.
4. Aches and pains (and swelling) of hands and feet.
5. General feeling of being unwell.
Fingers crossed I start feeling better soon!
