Lunch today had to be quick because we had errands to run right after preschool; so I just had a slice of whole wheat bread with butter.
Snack today was simply a few dried figs.
Breakfast today was the regular granola, banana, and milk; along with my morning coffee (decaf). Dinner tonight was grilled pork chops with a maple sauce, grilled veggies and foil baked potatoes. For the maple sauce we used white wine instead of chicken broth. The potatoes were simply sliced potatoes, onions, butter, garlic sea salt, pepper, and savory; all wrapped in tinfoil and cooked on the BBQ. The veggies were mushrooms, bell peppers and onions tossed in olive oil, savory, garlic sea salt and pepper, and cooked on the grill in a BBQ basket. For a meal that was pretty unplanned today; it was all delicious. All we had decides was we were having pork chops. Hubby wanted to grill them but it's hard to find a real food BBQ sauce, and I find pork to dry and bland just simply grilled without any marinade or sauce. This sauce was great :)
