I find making a meal plan and grocery list really helps me through the week. The trick is planning meals you look forward to so that you are more likely to cook and enjoy them and continue the cooking and planning :)
Started the week with a great turkey Thanksgiving dinner cooked by my Mom, best cooked dinner ever! Something I have never cooked before, as why would I because it will never be as good as Mom's ;) Next we had Hot Turkeys with fries and peas :) Another excellent meal! I also made an old favorite this week, Pasta & Shrimp. I used local broccoli and tomatoes, it was fantastic! Last night I made Mashed Potatoes (something I love) with Brussel sprouts and coloured carrots. I was happy without any meat so I just cooked extra veggies. Hubby had Shake & Bake chicken with his :) Tonight I made a simple Pasta and Meat Sauce. I used local onion and pepper in the sauce :) A really great and yummy week!
