I decided to focus on healthy, real, whole foods and to limit junk foods and overly processed foods. I am taking a few ideas and routines from the elimination diet (Digestive Health with Real Food) I was on before along with some items from the DOD diet I started following a couple of weeks ago. This combined with healthier food choices overall and I think it's a good way for me to get started again.
I am continuing with lemon and hot water most mornings to aid in digestion and increase metabolism; I hope. Also, still doing plain Greek yogurt and fruit some mornings for breakfast (both from DOD). Some mornings I have included the meat, veggie, and egg breakfast which I have found more filling than any other breakfast I have eaten. I am also adding more olive oil to my meals again. Both of these ideas are from the elimination diet.
