Had a great supper tonight. Made a sweet potato hash with onions and green pepper, fried eggs, and bacon (soaked sliced pork belly in salted water). It was delicious. Hubby had toast with his but I am still trying to limit grains due to inflammation.
I'm still trying to eat healthy and lose some weight along with feeling better health-wise. I was following DOD last week and still plan to follow it somewhat and stick to healthier choices more. I think I need to make a few tweaks for health reasons and personal preference. My breakfast and lunch were fine following this plan but the bacon would not be an accepted food as there is no pork or beef on diet days. I think local and good quality pork and beef in small amounts are fine.
